Tips & Tricks

Did you know...

You can sign up multiple individuals within your company, each having their own personal account.

Sign-up allows you to collect money by more than one individual in any one company.

Your browser needs to be set to allow cookies in order to log in to the InvoiceAction site. In Internet Explorer 6.0 and later that means going to Tools - Internet Options - Privacy and choosing the medium-high security setting.

You can have multiple usernames associated with one company.

Upon logging in to InvoiceAction you have access to this Tips & Tricks section almost anywhere in the program.

After an account remains idle for over 18 months, it is placed on inactive status and a new signup must take place.

Within Tips & Tricks, you can provide us any input for improvements that might be made or errors that you've encountered.

My Account

You may change any information found in a company account with the exception of the company, company fax, and user name.

You may list all accounts associated with your company/fax by clicking on the request list next to the fax number.

Any employee may request a suspension of an account of past or present employees who are no longer authorized to carry on InvoiceAction transactions. The request must be submitted by fax (650-341-8352) on company letterhead to InvoiceAction listing the subject as "Account Suspension" and signed by another account holder. The account will then be suspended.

If another suspends your account, the user name and contact name of the party that suspended your account will be listed as follows: "Account suspended by User Name (Contact Name)."

Request Collection

Previously entered contacts, or contacts saved from another session can really speed up a request.

Currently InvoiceAction will not support transactions less than $5,000.00 due to the small discount incentives associated with these invoice amounts.

When entering data, the Tab key moves the cursor to the next field. Shift-Tab returns to the previous field.

Collection Status

When viewing collection status, the heading above the collection requests has fields that are "hot" and will sort according to the field that is clicked. For instance, click on tracking # and the collection requests will be sorted numerically from low to high. Click on due date and the collection requests will be sorted by date.

The actual tracking numbers themselves are "hot". By clicking on any of the tracking #'s you will be given complete details about the request that was made and a collection log. The collection log indicates the status of the collection.

The collection log is a log of information related to activity that has occurred on your account. For instance, if InvoiceAction made a call to the payer and the party responded, the response would be logged so that you can track the progress of the collection.

After viewing detail of a collection request, clicking on Collection Status will return you to the View Incentive screen.

View Incentive

In you are a Payer and have misplaced your fax or e-mail discount offer, you can easily request another under View Incentive.

Submit Payment

You have two means of payment; enter your check information and produce a draft, or attach a company check to a prepared facsimile form.
